INTERNET BANKING CHANGE

Dutton State Bank has changed our policy regarding issuance of stop pay requests. There are new electronic banking rules that require more information on a request, and we feel we must speak with the customer and obtain their signature on all future stop pay requests so we can get the correct information. This way both the bank and the customer will understand exactly what is needed and what will be done.
As a result, our internet banking customers will no longer be able to request stop pays online. In fact the "Stop Pay" is no longer available. If you need a stop pay please call either location so we can gather the needed information, and issue the correct stop pay. You will also be required to sign the request in order for it to stay in place. If you have questions please give us a call and we will be glad to explain the new rules.
