FDIC TRANSACTION ACCOUNT GUARANTEE PROGRAM
Updated All funds in a "non-interest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to and separate from the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. The term "non-interest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts,and money market deposit accounts. 50th CELEBRATION
Nov 02, 2010 1:22 pm This year marks 50 years to give thanks and celebrate service to our customers and surrounding communities. It has been our privilege to service a wide range of interests and to put our customers needs first. The banks in Dutton and White Sulphur Springs invite you to stop in to our open house November 19th from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the bank in Dutton and share refreshments with the staff and directors. INTERNET BANKING CHANGE
Mar 04, 2010 1:58 pm Dutton State Bank has changed our policy regarding issuance of stop pay requests. There are new electronic banking rules that require more information on a request, and we feel we must speak with the customer and obtain their signature on all future stop pay requests so we can get the correct information. This way both the bank and the customer will understand exactly what is needed and what will be done. Read Full Article >
