Dutton State Bank opened for business on September 17, 1960 in the present facility. Originally there were only two employees. A drive-up was added in 1973 and an addition to the north of the bank was completed in 1990. The first branch opened in White Sulphur Springs, MT in 2008. On May 1, 2015, Dutton State Bank merged with Farmers State Bank of Denton, Montana.
56 years after opening, we still believe in providing the kind of personalized customer service that is becoming so rare in modern banking. Those who live and work in rural Montana value independence, hard work, community, and family. We bring these same values to work with us every day. While we have still retained the commitment to small town banking service our customers deserve, we offer competitive products in all areas. Stop in and see us soon!
